[Wednesday] Good Morning Year 4!

How are you all? Have you been doing some learning and reading at home?

Thank you Blessing and Nico for sending in your work yesterday.
Excellent tenacity, Nico!

This summer, a lot of us wouldn't be able to travel due to the coronavirus. I thought it would be nice to at least imagine we were travelling!

Write a postcard to somebody you know (a friend/ family member).

Use your imagination to tell them what you've been doing at the beach!
What did you eat? How was the weather? When are you coming back?

Here's a template to help you.

[Tuesday] Good Morning Year 4!

Wow! Well done to Nico and Ayaan for your work for reading and maths yesterday! Keep it up!

When something belongs to one person, we put the apostrophe before the s.
For example, Miss Alice's glass, Nico's bike, Ayaan's rabbit...

When something belongs to more than one person, we put the apostrophe after the s.
For example, the wolves' cave, the kittens' toy...

REMEMBER! THERE ARE THREE DRAGONS!

[Friday] Good Morning Year 4

Hello Year 4! I apologise for not posting anything yesterday. 😭😭

Today for English, I would like you to write me a letter to tell me what you've been up to.
Here's mine to you all. 😊

Dear Year 4,

I have been quite busy lately since life is getting back to normal in Hong Kong. I finally had time to go to the hairdressers to get a haircut (after almost a year!)
Restaurants and cafes are all operating as normal in Hong Kong so I sometimes go out for lunch with my family. Here's a photo of a very famous dish from Singapore: chicken rice

Recently, I have started playing a game called Animal Crossing on my Nintendo switch. It allows me to build up my own island. Have you heard of the game?

It's also getting very warm in Hong Kong. In fact, it's almost 32 degrees every day.
So my family had a mini barbecue at home.

I miss you all so much and I hope you are all doing well.
I wish to see you all soon.

Best,
Miss Alice 😸
