For topic, we will look at NORSE GODS.
I'm sure most of you have heard of Thor and Loki (maybe from the Avengers?). They are actually Norse gods whom the Vikings believed in.

Viking shields!

In the Viking age, men used large, round, wooden shields gripped in the centre from behind. They have special patterns on them as well.

Try to make one at home with some cardboard box. You can also draw on paper and cut it out.

Pitch Perfect!

Have you ever wondered why some sound is sharper (higher) ? Like babies' screaming. 

Some sounds are lower like the beating of the drums.

Here is a classic experiment for you to explore different pitches. 

1) Get some glasses out. Carefully tap them with a spoon to listen for the pitch. 

2) Try filling them in with different amount of water. Tap them again. 

What do you realise?  What happens to the pitch when the water level is high? 

3) Go crazy and make a song!
