For Maths today, I want you to solve some word problems. 

Read the problems carefully and decide whether you are multiplying (times) or dividing (sharing).

1) Tulips are sold in bunches of 5. Ayaan buys 65 tulips. How many bunches does he buy?

2) Imogen is giving a birthday party. She invited 15 friends. She will give each friend a party bag containing 10 marbles. How many marbles is she giving away in total?

3) A bag of crisps cost 50p. How much does 6 packs cost?

4) Rushane saves 15p each week. How much does he save after 7 weeks? 

5) Miss Alice spent £75 to buy 3 jumpers. How much does each jumper cost?

*6) Nico wants to buy 20 eggs. Eggs are sold in boxes of 6. How many boxes does he need? (Hint: Draw out the boxes of eggs to help you solve the problem!)
