Remember...rounding?

Before we dive into today's maths, I just want to say well done to these children for going on Times Tables Rockstar this week!
👏 Rushane, Angela, Charlie, Alia, Kirsty, Naima, Imogen, Isabella and Elif! 👏

Make sure you're all practising your times tables on TTRockstar!

Today for maths, we're going to review rounding. Do you remember what it is?
It's when we make numbers simpler.

For example, if I want to round 33 to the nearest 10, I first find the 10 before 33 and the 10 after 30.
30 --- 33 --- 40
I then look at the ones column. 3 is sitting in the ones column.
We let it rest.
33 rounded to the nearest 10 = 30
The number line also shows you that 33 is closer to 30 than to 40.

Now's your turn to have a go.
