[Wednesday] Good Morning Year 4!

Good morning Year 4! Happy Wednesday!

Firstly, I just want to share this amazing shark artwork by Rushane. Very impressive!
Thank you Nico, Ayaan and Rushane for sending in your setting description! Well done for trying to use all your senses and for adding some similes! 👍

Today, I want us to look at fronted adverbials.
Fronted adverbials are phrases placed at the front of a sentence which tell us how, when or where the verb is taking place.

Create sensible fronted adverbials for the following sentences:

1) _____________________________________________, Carrot went for a walk.

2) _____________________________________________, Rushane created a pop up shark card.

3) _____________________________________________, Ayaan wrote a powerful setting description.

4) _____________________________________________, Nico cooked some marshmallows.
This time, I will give you the fronted adverbial and I want you to write the second half of the sentence. I will pick the most creative one and post it on tomorrow's blog!

In the middle of the night, __________________________________________________________.

Keep up the good work, Year 4!

Best,
Miss Alice 😸
